The Artificial Scientific Intelligence Lab (ASI Lab) at the National University of Singapore is recruiting:
1) Several PhD Candidates (Jan/Aug 2027 intake). Directions: fundamental machine learning or AI for science. 2) 1 Postdoc for AI for medicine. 3) Research Interns / Visiting Scholars / Visiting Clinicians starting in 2026.
About Us
Led by Dr. Dianbo Liu, we develop fundamental machine learning methods to enable AI systems to autonomously conduct research. Our lab website: https://www.asintelligence.xyz/
Our team focuses on the following three themes of research:
- Autoresearch: Enable AI to conduct autoresearch that improves AI itself.
- AI as science: Treat AI as a scientific subject to systematically understand the fundamentals of AI.
- AI as co-scientist: Develop AI to work with humans in biomedical science development.
